Medication Discount Card

I had never heard of this before and was slightly doubting of whether or not I would actually save any money. But thanks to Tomoson, they gave me the opportunity to review Medication Discount Card

This card can be used in place of insurance at places like CVS, Wal-Mart and Walgreens for drugs like Adderall, Advair, Ativan, Augmentin, and Avandia...and those are just the A's! Many of those drugs are brand name prescriptions on my insurance and I have to pay as much as $60, but with the medication discount card, I can save as much as 75% off. With prescription costs the way they are now, I'm thankful for any discounts!

There is no application, no health restrictions, no fees and the card will never expire. Just go to their website and download the card, print it off and take it to one of the 59,000 participating pharmacies.

*Remember, this is not insurance and cannot be used to reduce your copay. It can, however, be used in place of your insurance or for drugs/vitamins that your insurance might not cover.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. I tried using Medication Discount Card at Walgreens today. The price of my prescription was $93. After applying Medication Discount Card the price went up to $115 !!! The pharmacist stated she has seen several people come in with the same MedicationDiscountCard.com print out, and not one was offered any saving using it.

  2. I don't understand how the discount card would make the price go up. Very confusing. I know the card works and something doesn't seem right with your comment. The card does work!! You must be someone who promotes a different card.
